THE GREAT’S ESCAPE: Keeping me sane and you informed- let’s hope we’re both entertained.
I’m 36. My mother has been calling people my age “middle-aged” for two years. I have no children of my own but feel as thought I’ve been raising other people’s children for 20+ years. I am not married and constantly have to explain my male “spousal equivalent.”
I really like wine, hate running, run anyway, adore my families, and hope I’m not at the middle of my life.

Take heart: “Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand and wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “WOO HOO what a ride!”
